Being rooted is to be established. We plant ourselves within our spaces. We forge connections to one another and root ourselves within our communities. Having roots is to stabilize. We put down roots to start a family. We use roots as a foundation on which to stand tall. Rooted is also to grow. As flowers and trees build their root systems, they blossom and change. We are always becoming something new. Developing strong roots allows us to flourish.

Meet Emily
I am a Holy Fire® Usui Reiki Master and have been practicing reiki since 2013. In addition to being a legally ordained minister in the U.S., I have a PhD in geography and value learning about other cultures and ways of living. My partner Kevin and I have been married since 2008 and our black cat Mulligan joined our family in 2010. While I've lived throughout the US, we all have been excited to call Baltimore our forever home since 2020.
